MapGuide Maestro最為MapGuide開源版的authoring工具真是發展迅速，有些功能比Infrastructure Studio還給力，現在5.1版已經發布了。大家可以到http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/maestro/Downloads 下載。
Maestro的主要開發人員Jackie Ng的博客上列舉了新版的功能改進，包括：XML編輯器的自動代碼提示Map Definition編輯工具改進SDK改進，包含了Maestro API Test Runner等等
