There are many companies and websites on the internet who need and want your help. They want you to trial their services, complete surveys, questionnaires and look at their products. They, in return, reward you for these with money. This creates many opportunities for you to make money on the internet, and usually, it is simple to do. However, it is really hard to know where to start and who to trust. There are so many websites who do not pay and they make you do the work first.
There is no guarantee of how much you can earn with these sites, it all depends on where you live, if you have any referrals and how much time you spend on the site. This is the reason why I have not listed how much I have personally earned - some members may earn a lot more than this, others less.
There will be some work involved, such as filling in surveys and viewing websites, but how much you do all depends on how much time you want to spend. All the sites listed are free to join and you can earn without any referrals. However, more referrals does mean even more money!
The different types of money making opportunities include paid to click (PTC) and paid to read sites (PTR); survey sites; cashback sites and social networking sites.
But before we go carry on, let's have a quick intro to money making.
How do you earn money?
Paid to Click (PTC)
Paid to click sites are the most easiest and quickest type of money making sites around the net today. The way they work is simple. Advertisers and promoters want people to view their websites so they pay to advertise with PTC programs. These programs then pay you to view the advertised websites for a certain amount of time. You then receive credits which can be transferred and withdrawn as cash once you reach the minimum payout.
Paid to Read (PTR)
Paid to read sites work pretty much the same as PTC sites but the ads are sent to you in an email rather than listed on the program’s website. The email you are sent usually contains a brief summary of the site and an ad link to click. You are then credited for viewing this just like with PTC programs.
Survey Sites
These type of sites are generally the best paying sites, though they are more time consuming. They work quite simply really, you sign up to the survey site and fill in a short profile about yourself.
When a survey is available for you, the survey site sends you an email invitation with a link to the survey. You then click on the link and complete the survey. The answers you give are always anonymous and you do not have to complete every survey you are invited to. Some survey sites pay you after each survey, others credit your account and have a minimum payout system.
Referrals
Most money making sites pay you for referring new people to their program. To do this, they give you a special referral link which you can give to friends and family. Some sites also give you banner and text ads you can use too.
When people sign up to the program through your referral link, they become your referrals and you receive extra money. Some sites pay you a one off payment, other’s pay you a certain percentage of your referral’s earnings. For example, if the bonus is 10% and your referral earns $1, you will receive an extra 10 cents. This referral bonus is usually credited to your account every time your referrals earn. They usually set it up in levels, with level one being your referrals, level 2 being their referrals and so on and you can often earn down several levels. This all means that the more people you refer to the money making site, the more money you will potentially make.
Steps to consider
1) It would then be a really good idea to set up a new email address just for money making sites. This way you can keep them separate from your other emails and it makes it much easier to be organised! Google mail (gmail) is a great choice as they have excellent spam filters and all money making sites I’ve found accept gmail accounts.
2) Pretty much all money making sites pay you for referring other people to their program. By advertising your referral links on traffic exchanges and inviting friends and family, you can earn even more money! However, please don’t spam, no one likes it!
3) Though it can be tempting to join up to everything at once, it’s better to join a few sites at a time as they can quickly become very time consuming. This way you have time to get to know the program and learn all the different ways you can earn with that site. It also allows you to be more focused on building up your referral downline.
4) If you have an online blog this is a great way to tell people about your favourite money making sites. Online forums can also provide a great opportunity to advertise your money making sites, especially if you’re allowed links in your signatures. Twitter and social networking sites like Facebook can also be a very effective for advertising.
And lastly, before we move onto the main money making websites - Advertising!
1) If you want your sites to stand out you need to use a splash page/landing page. A splash page is simply an attention grabbing webpage which quickly explains what your site is about and why people should join
2) If you want to get more referrals, post your links in signatures of money making forums. There are more than plenty forums online which you can do this on. Be creative and think outside the box.
3) Use traffic exchanges to promote your landing page or slash page and this will slowly but effectively increase your referrals and sign ups.
And finally.. the sites and the method
Hits 4 Pay - Get paid to read emails!
This is an excellent paid to read email site, which gives you $10 just to sign up! The emails are sent to the site's inbox, so when there’s an email to read, you are usually sent a notification. The emails are usually worth 2 cents, which doesn't sound like much, but it soon adds up. The minimum payout is $25 via paypal. I personally have earned around $50 with this and people with more dedication can earn more.
Word Linx
This is my favourite paid to click site and it pays you just for visiting websites! You get paid 0.5 or 1 cent for viewing ads for 15 to 30 seconds. They also send out some paid to read emails. Payout is via paypal when you have reached $10. The yearly upgrade option gives you a lot more ads to click, so it’s well worth upgrading! Similar to Neobux and I personally make around $1-2 per day.
Easy Hits 4 U
This site functions mainly as a manual traffic exchange, so it’s a great way to advertise your referral links for the sites above - more referrals means more money! It has a 1:1 surfing ratio so for every site you view, you get 1 view to your site. You also get 30 cents for every 1000 sites you view and the minimum payment is only $3 via paypal. It has lots of prize pages and some some pretty useful tools to help you advertise, including site rotators and a splash page maker. Made quite a lot of money once I upgraded! Definitely a must try.
Points2shop
This is probably the best website people have tried for making money. You complete surveys and you get paid. You can also get points by playing games. I personally have made around $100 from this but I have quit this method along with the others above to move on to bigger things.
Donkey Mails
This is both a paid to click and and a paid to read site which has a good range of adverts and emails each day. Most adverts are worth between 0.25 and 1 cent, which may not sound a lot but as the minimum payout is only $1 via paypal, it’s a fast little earner. Some adverts pay in points which you can use to buy your own advertising.

Money making is easy - if you dedicate yourself. Some of these websites above pay quite less and some are really low but once you carry on working with it (and upgrading your account), you can make some decent money. Although it might be a bit, it still works and you still make money.
If money making was so easy, then everyone would be making money. The main point is to never give up, and just rinse and repeat on what works and what does not.
