寫在文章開頭的話：抑郁癥嚴(yán)重者，切勿嘗試以下操作
不要被標(biāo)題誤導(dǎo)了，不是直接一步升完，其實還是從6.10升到7.04再升7.10再升8.04再升8.10，相當(dāng)漫長
(堅持6.10很久了，由于之前beryl特效是自己配置安裝的，巨麻煩，一直舍不得升級)
升成8.10了，別以為這么輕松就完了，我一直不升級6.10就是這個原因，
我發(fā)現(xiàn)顯卡驅(qū)動掛掉了，到ati網(wǎng)站下了個最新的好像8.42.3，裝驅(qū)動，卸載再裝驅(qū)動，重啟再裝，卸載再裝再重啟，修改xorg.conf，aticonfig，Ctrl+Alt+Break，sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart，重啟，重啟，重啟
fglrxinfo始終是mesa，一點幾來著忘了，說明沒有用fglrx驅(qū)動，折騰了好幾天，看log也沒用，lsmod里面明明有fglrx
一周左右過后，我有點后悔為什么我升到8.04沒事，到8.10就驅(qū)動出問題了。由于ubuntu已經(jīng)配好了雅黑等字體，再加上我的多系統(tǒng)，grub和多啟動菜單嵌套了很多，很麻煩，不想直接下載8.10刻盤重裝，算了，還原ubuntu到6.10，重新升級。
又經(jīng)歷了好幾天升級，漫長，相當(dāng)漫長，這回打死我不升到8.10，畢竟還是alpha版本。升到7.10時候沒事，升到8.04時候，顯卡又不幸出事了。幾天的漫長下載升級，我發(fā)誓不再還原后重新升級了。網(wǎng)上繼續(xù)找資料，一遍一遍的刪驅(qū)動，裝驅(qū)動，一遍一遍的重啟，半個月估計都在重復(fù)這個過程，今天凌晨02:00左右，突然進系統(tǒng)不閃了，fglrxinfo顯示是OpenGL2.0，Compiz＋Emerald沒問題，中間加了個源升級了compiz，下了些emerald的theme，但是發(fā)現(xiàn)勾選動畫等有些選項，過一會會自動取消，報錯信息網(wǎng)上查半天沒搞定，又是自己折騰一番，發(fā)現(xiàn)注釋掉剛才的源，用新立德重裝compiz就可以解決，估計是源的問題（一切皆有可能）。
待機貌似可以用了，我很欣慰。
大概回憶下離驅(qū)動安裝成功最近的操作記錄：
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xgl
sudo apt-get remove xorg-driver-fglrx
sudo rm -f /usr/src/fglrx-kernel*
將舊的fglrx模塊加入黑名單
sudo gedit /etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common
加入這么一行
DISABLED_MODULES=”fglrx”
到官方下驅(qū)動，我的是8.8的
sudo apt-get install module-assistant build-essential fakeroot dh-make debhelper debconf libstdc++5 linux-headers-generic
sudo sh ./ati-driver-installer-8-8-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/8.04 //這一步會生成下面要執(zhí)行的文件
sudo dpkg -i fglrx-kernel-source_8.522-0ubuntu1_i386.deb xorg-driver-fglrx_8.522-0ubuntu1_i386.deb
sudo m-a prepare,update
sudo m-a build fglrx-kernel （我在這步操作的時候有個錯誤，具體錯誤忘了，但是重啟后發(fā)現(xiàn)ati驅(qū)動好了，所以說“一切皆有可能”）
sudo m-a install fglrx-kernel
sudo depmod
確認(rèn)fglrx在”Device”字段里
如果存在下面字段，就移除
Section “Extensions”
Option “Composite” “0″ # or “Disable”
EndSection
Section “ServerFlags”
Option “AIGLX” “off”
EndSection
03:00睡覺，上午去公司，下了幾個主題，趕快做ghost，說不定哪天裝了個什么東西，或者做了個什么小操作，又廢了

升級完成后可以用下面的命令清除下載的包，節(jié)約硬盤空間。
sudo apt-get clean
升級后的問題
- 掛載的NTFS分區(qū)里面所有中文的文件夾和文件都不可見了，解決方法是安裝ntfs-config，到“應(yīng)用程序” --> “系統(tǒng)工具”，打開“NTFS寫入支持配置程序”，勾選“啟用內(nèi)部設(shè)備寫支持”，點確定，OK，問題解決。
- 由于某些原因中斷了升級，使用 sudo dpkg --configure -a
