Q:IBM has its own JVM called J9. Linux versions can be downloaded from DeveloperWorks, but not the Windows versions (except for one requiring IBM hardware). This is most likely a licensing issue. We develop against IBM non-x86 hardware with J9 so it is interesting to use the same JVM for development too.
